The passion for smoking is the hallmark of this new gastronomic proposal that is located in the Roma colony. Delicious American food that reflects the fusion of Native American and European style that came to America.

At only 4 months of opening, Chef Eduardo comments that the idea and concept of this new restaurant is to rescue the textures and the flavor of the star products, in this case the meat.

The atmosphere and decor is relaxed, allowing us to have the view behind the large window the kitchen and the chef delivering the soul in the preparation of each dish. It has a backyard that refers to the name where you can simply enjoy the moment with the different craft beers they offer in hand.

Everything is cooked at the moment and the best thing is that you will not have to make a row as in the primary to obtain your food.

We started with a delicious pancetta skewer baked for approx. 48 hours, varnished with chili-based Korean sauce (a sweet-acid flavor will explode in your palate)

As the weather has been somewhat crazy we decided to order a soup; Chicken Noodles. Chicken infused at the moment in aromatic broth with long noodles and sheets of chicken and vegetable breast – comforting.

Then, to avoid looking so fat, we opted for one of the 3 salads on the menu.  Fresh apple salad with cranberries , served in mason jar that you should stir to mix well with the orange dressing.

We arrived on the plates, here is a lot to choose from and it was a difficult decision, however the chef us mega recommended not to leave without trying the ribs and the Brisket.

Brisket  meat cured in oven for 18 hours at low temperature to ensure smoothness and moisturizing – all this accompanied by mashed potatoes white and sweet sweet potato.

Ribs BBQ baby ribs smoked for 8 hours and golden brown at the time ensuring a unique texture, frosting with BBQ sauce from the house and accompanied with mashed potatoes.

As always there is room for dessert, do not hesitate to try the double cream Cheese Cake with red thefts served in a jar and the spectacular  Elvis,  a banana ice cream sandwich with honey, peanut butter, bacon and cheese sprinkled with cocoa.

In short, The Backyard is the ideal place to enjoy delicious meat, where the terms do not exist. Everything revolves around the hours and baking temperature.

The service is excellent, do not hesitate to ask the recommendations for the pairing of your dishes.
