The weekend is already approaching, and for those who want to indulge themselves with something rich, I suggest you visit these places of 10!

TEO Luncheonette

Havre 83, Col. Juarez

This cafeteria-lunch by chef José Antonio Beltrán, located in an area that is giving more and more to talk about, offers breakfasts, coffees, homemade bread in a quite relaxed atmosphere. The location favors as it is far from the bustle of Paseo de la Reforma. If you arrive early, you can take advantage and have breakfast right in the window that is outside the restaurant.

I recommend you start your day with a black coffee Buna, a biscuit or scones that will immediately catch your attention.

The menu is small but substantial with sweet and savory choices, they serve until 2pm which is perfect for those who are not so morning person.

We enjoyed Pan Frances bathed in red fruit sauce, really delicious.

Eggs, pork was our choice, I liked the combination of meat with starred egg.

Ideal place for a weekend without rushing looking forward to something rich.

An interesting place with incredible decor and impeccable menu. Ideal for breakfast with a group of friends. They offer house juices and coffees, Sandwiches and Eggs.

We start our day with a nut juice , Chia and Datil , it may sound strange but it is a combination of flavors that conquers. We try the Baked Oats with Red Fruits and milk , as cold option they have the Black Rice with coconut milk, banana and mango . Great variety of Huevos Pochados , order them with salmon and the classic Dutch sauce, without more sublime words. They have variety of sandwiches with different cheeses and sausages Roast Beef and Gruyere , is an excellent decision, do not stop asking for the much loved by all Croque Monsieur.

Padam

Veracruz 38

Hidden in the Condesa, you will find this spot with a beautiful decoration with vintage touch. I must say that the cuisine is delicious, if you want something salty, choose Benedict Eggs or Eggs Cocotte , well executed.

They also offer sweet options, the French bread, (fairly substantial compared to many other sides) bathed with red fruit compote and cream cheese is spectacular for the palate. Chilaquiles, can not miss on the menu, bathed in red sauce with chicken.

In summary, generous portions, price / quality ratio is perfect. Go, go !!

Cardamom

Culiacán 74

Another small jewel in the Cindesa that stands out for its quality. All the dishes you could find in a cafe or gourmet coffee without becoming pretentious.

I suggest starting with some Cardamom Biscuits for no reason should they stop asking, They are a  must !!!

It is worth to try the Goat Cheese Muffins and the Croque Madame .

Weekdays are always crowded so consider that they will have to wait for a table. They offer 4 times menu from 2 pm and I confess that I am always surprised.

Ivoire

Emilio Castelar 95

French-style and very cozy atmosphere with a nice view of Lincoln Park. I recommend sitting on the second floor, it is much less noisy and crowded.

The must here are the Benedict Eggs , one of the best I’ve ever had. They also offer great variety of Omelettes, the Salmon or Artichokes accompanied by dehydrated tomato.

Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, make you feel at home.
